VFW Post 2925 Programs

The Voice of Democracy program is an essay contest for 9th through 12th grade students. The Post selects a winner for the Post Scholarship. Post Winner moves to District, District winner moves to State, State Winner moves to National. National winner receives a $35,000 Scholarship.

The Patriots Pen program is an essay contest for 6th through 8th grade students. The Post selects a winner for the Post Scholarship. Post Winner moves to District, District winner moves to State, State Winner moves to National. National winner receives a $5,000 Scholarship.

Wells-Krause VFW Post 2925 is proud to award a $500 Scholarship to a deserving High School Senior or graduated student. This scholarship can be used towards a 4-year degree or a technical college or program.

Wells-Krause VFW Post 2925 is proud to charter local scout troops. The VFW has a Scout of the year program, a Scout that is selected by its Post is sent to District, District winner moves to State, State Winner moves to National. National winner will be recognized at the VFW National Convention and presented with awards.

Wells-Krause VFW Post 2925 distributes Buddy Poppies on Veterans Day in and around Berlin. The Poppy is a symbol of remembrance, sacrifice & gratitude. It honors the military personnel who lost their lives in war and supports the living veterans who served their country. Proceeds from the Poppies go to out Veteran Relief Fund to assist needy Veterans in the Community.
